Sen. Nwoko Urges Idumuje Ward 8 Party Kinsmen, Delta APC Family To Unite; Hosts Stakeholders Meeting
Senator Ned Nwoko (APC-Delta) has urged unity among stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the ward levels in particular and the state in general.
Nwoko, representing Delta North Senatorial District, made the call when he hosted stakeholders and leaders of Ward 8, Aniocha North, (comprising Idumuje Ugboko, Idumuje Unor and Aniofu) on Saturday, August 30, 2025
Addressing the kinsmen at his Mount Ned Nwoko country home in Idumuje-Ugboko, Aniocha North Local Government Area, Delta, Senator Nwoko said he convened the meeting to foster unity and oneness “significant for the consolidation of APC at the grassroots”
The lawmaker who enjoined the ward stakeholders to mobilize the people in supporting the ruling APC government at all levels under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu, noted that the meeting was convened to foster unity and oneness, describing it as significant for the consolidation of the party at the grassroots level.
Senator Nwoko, who is the Chairman, Senate Committee on Reparations and Repatriation, revealed that he had initiated key projects in his constituency and these included access roads, earth dam, school buildings and solar-powered electricity at Idumuje clan, as well as employment opportunities and skill acquisition programmes for the people.
While disclosing that similar social infrastructure and manpower development have been provided across Delta North Senatorial District as part of his commitment to rural and urban development, the Senator further revealed the establishment of a project monitoring and implementation committee at Ward 8, comprising Idumuje Unor, Idumuje Ugboko, and Aniofu, adding that this was with a view to aiding the Needs Assessment and the equitable distribution of amenities.
On his advocacy for the creation of Anioma State, Nwoko said his enthusiasm was at its highest ebb.
According to him, critical authorities, including the Tinubu administration, the Senate and diverse socio-cultural groups across the country, are supporting the creation of an Anioma State.
“Agitation for Anioma state remains the oldest in Nigeria, beginning from 1954, and I am more than determined to see this quest actualise.”
Declaring that his commitment to Anioma State creation was not for self-aggrandisement but equity, social justice and identity, Senator Nwoko stated that an enlarged meeting of all ward members would be convened on Monday to deliberate and forge a common front for the benefit of all.
Various speakers at the meeting pledged their dedication to the APC and support for the lawmaker in the pursuit of the people’s betterment.

Adim Okonkwo, Councillor ( Idumuje Unor) and Hon. Eluemenen Ugo Councillor (Idumuje Ugboko).
