Sheriff Oborevwori, has approved the elevation of Dr. Nelson Egware to the position of Executive Assistant, Media, in recognition of his unwavering commitment to strategic communication and his contributions to the advancement of the state. Prior to this appointment, Dr. Egware served as Senior Special Assistant, Media, where he distinguished himself through impactful media engagements in support of the administration’s M.O.R.E Agenda of Meaningful Development, Opportunities for All, Realistic Reforms, and Enhanced Peace and Security. A multi-disciplinary professional, Egware is an accomplished accountant, banker, journalist, and media strategist. The Delta State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to democratic ideals and openness to constructive criticism, describing such engagement as vital for growth and accountability. Commissioner for Works (Rural Roads) and Public Information, Mr. Charles Aniagwu, stated this while addressing journalists in Asaba, noting that the Oborevwori-led administration welcomes honest feedback aimed at enhancing governance. Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan Granted Bail After Arraignment for Alleged Cybercrime

Kogi Central Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan was, on Monday, Mine 30, 2025,, arraigned before the Federal High Court in Abuja on a six-count charge bordering on alleged cybercrime against Senate President Godswill Akpabio and former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello. The charges, filed by the Office of the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), accuse the presently suspended Senator of making false and damaging claims during a public address and a televised interview — including an allegation that Akpabio instructed Bello to have her assassinated in Kogi State. The case, marked FHC/ABJ/CR/195/2025, followed a petition by Akpabio to the Inspector General of Police. After an investigation, the AGF’s office filed charges under the Cybercrime Act, alleging that Senator Natasha transmitted harmful information electronically with the intent to incite, endanger lives, and disrupt public order. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, with a week-long golf tournament marking his 62nd birthday. Organized by the IGCC in celebration of the Governor’s leadership and enduring support for sports development in the state, the tournament drew over 300 participants, including golf enthusiasts from across the country, notable public officials, industry leaders, traditional rulers, and seasoned professionals from the golfing community. Women of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta Central Senatorial District have unanimously endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, as the sole candidates of the party for the 2027 general elections.
