The delegation, which included Chief Dumo Lulu-Briggs, Chairman of the National Burial Committee; Engr. Ebipamowei Wodu, INC National Secretary; and Chief Ebikeme Clark, eldest son of the late Ijaw leader, met with Dr. Jonathan to seek his support and blessing for the funeral arrangements.
Chief Dumo Lulu-Briggs, while presenting the detailed burial schedule, emphasized that the plans were carefully developed in consultation with the Clark family to ensure a befitting final farewell for the Grand Commander of the Niger Delta Struggle.
Dr. Jonathan warmly received the delegation, expressing his unwavering commitment to honoring Pa Dr. Edwin Clark’s legacy. He assured the delegation of his full support in ensuring that the burial reflects the immense contributions of the late leader to the Ijaw people and the nation at large.

Yesterday, I had the honor of joining a distinguished delegation, led by Prof. Benjamin Okaba, President of the Ijaw National Congress (INC), to pay a courtesy visit to the former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.
The delegation also included myself, as Chairman of the National Burial Committee for the late Pa Dr. Edwin K. Clark, Engr. Ebipamowei Wodu, National Secretary, and Chief Ebikeme Clark, the eldest son of the late Pa Edwin Kiagbodo Clark, the Grand Commander of the Niger Delta Struggle.
Our visit was aimed at formally presenting the agreed burial date and the activities planned by our committee. We sought the support and blessing of Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, a respected leader of the Ijaw people, whose endorsement is vital in ensuring that Pa Dr. Clark’s burial is a true reflection of his immense contributions.
