SYLVESTER OROMONI CELEBRATES LATE WIFE, ROSEMARY, WITH EMOTIONAL TRIBUTE ON POSTHUMOUS BIRTHDAY ANNIVERSARY

It was an emotional day of remembrance as Mr. Sylvester Oromoni penned heartfelt posthumous birthday wishes to his late wife, Rosemary Oghenevwaire Sylvester Oromoni, describing her as a “jewel of inestimable value” whose passing left an irreplaceable void in the family.

In his touching tribute, Oromoni reflected on the pain of her sudden departure and the enduring impact she had on him and their children. “Words cannot fully describe the anguish your departure has caused the Children and I. The vacuum is indescribable,” he wrote, noting that the family continues to celebrate her life on her heavenly birthdays.

He praised Rosemary for her humility, generosity, discipline, and focus, saying her true wealth was the love, joy, serenity, and knowledge of God that she freely shared with everyone around her. “My confidant, you made life so beautiful and easy with the way you chose compassion when bitterness would have easily taken hold of you, demonstrating that genuine strength rare among mortals,” Oromoni added.

Recalling her enduring influence, he described her as a radiant soul whose inner light brought peace and calm to those around her. He also pointed to the numerous awards and accolades she received as a testament to her exemplary life. “Your slogans — ‘No venture, no success’ and ‘Salvation is personal’ — have since become some of our principles as we continue the journey of life without your physical presence,” he wrote.

Reflecting on their 42 years together, Oromoni said the laughter, challenges, and victories they shared will remain forever indelible in his heart. “Dearest, what we had will be difficult to replace. Love forever,” he concluded, signing off as “Your Husband, Sylvester Oromoni.”

The tribute reads:

POSTHUMOUS BIRTHDAY WISHES TO MY BELOVED WIFE.

Rosemary Oghenevwaire Sylvester Oromoni, my jewel of inestimable value, you left too sudden. Words cannot fully describe the anguish your departure has caused the Children and I. The vacuum is indescribable.

Today, like in years past, we gather to wish you a "Happy Glorious Heavenly Birthday " 

We Celebrate, your quiet, humble, generous, disciplined and Focused life. 

True wealth to me, is the peace, care, joy, laughter, serenity, love and the knowledge of God , which you shared freely with all around with so much Grace, Commitment and Passion.

My Confidant, you made life so beautiful and easy with the way you choose Compassion when bitterness would have easily taken hold of you, demonstrating that genuine strength, rare among mortals.

You had the sun inside you.
It's hard to explain.
Your presence just brightens, it's not about your beautiful smiles. 
Your internal being that sheds light and feels like the sun.
Radiating a calm clean energy, Inner peace and most importantly; was your not wanting anything back in return.

The encomiums you received even in forms of awards and plaques, Spiritual and Circular are a testament to the encouraging life you lived.

Your Slogans; --- NO VENTURE, NO SUCCESS AND SALVATION IS PERSONAL, have since become some of our Principles as we continue the journey of life without your physical presence.

Know that the early days with you, as I reflect, brings back the picture of your steadfastness, perseverance, resilience, astuteness and candour. 

The Laughters, Challenges, Victories we shared and Conquered in over forty - two (42) years are forever indelible in my heart.

DELTA BANS CIVIL SERVANTS FROM WEARING BUSHY BEARDS, ARTIFICIAL HAIR, OTHERS; SETS DOWN OFFICIAL DRESS CODE

The Delta State Government has issued a new directive banning bushy beards, artificial braided or tainted hair, long eyelashes, fake nails, and other forms of what it calls “indecent appearance” among public servants. The ban was announced in a circular issued by the Office of the Head of Service, which stated that all public servants must now appear in neat, professional, and modest attire that reflects their level in the civil service. According to the circular, male civil servants are no longer allowed to grow bushy beards or wear certain traditional caps such as the “Resource Control” or “Papas” caps. Female staff are now prohibited from coming to work with artificial braided or dyed (tainted) hair, long eyelashes, and fake nails. The directive also provides updated dress code standards. DELTA BEGINS CONSTRUCTION OF LANDMARK ASABA WATERFRONT CITY

Delta State Government has commenced construction of access road to the proposed Asaba waterfront city in the state capital.  Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, who disclosed this during the inspection of the project on Tuesday, said the project was conceived by the previous administration through a Public Private Partnership (PPP) Model.  He said the state government’s role was to construct a 6-lane access road to the new city, while the developers were expected to reclaim the land and develop the city.  He said: "Asaba is becoming very attractive to property developers who are coming from Lagos to Asaba because Asaba today is housing most of those people from the South-East.  "They are coming here because they find Asaba very comfortable and they know that we are also hospitable.  "The Asaba waterfront city project is a Public Private Partnership (PPP) arrangement between the state government and the developers.  "Our obligation is to reclaim the place to give ...
