EXCLUSIVE: Members of ADC National Working Committee, NWC


The African Democratic Congress, ADC, has inaugurated former Senate President, David Mark; former Osun State governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola; former Secretary to the Government of the Federation Babachir Lawal; former Minister Bolaji Abdullahi and General Tunde Ogbeha (rtd) amongst a 15-member National Executive Committee (NEC) to man the affairs of the party until a national convention to elect a substantive Exco is conducted.

The members of ADC National Working Committee, NWC confirmed by NEC are:

9. Cmrd. Nkem Ukandu ~ National Welfare Secretary.

The formal swearing-in ceremony of the new NEC took place, which took place at the Chelsea Hotel, was witnessed by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), signalling compliance with electoral guidelines and party transition protocols.

All newly sworn-in members were present during the brief but symbolic ceremony, which took place immediately after the party’s NEC meeting, marking the official handover from the Ralph Nwosu-led outgoing executive.

The tenure of the new executive committee begins with immediate effect, ushering in a new era for the party as it aligns with a broader opposition coalition to reposition itself ahead of future political contests.
