DUMO LULU-BRIGGS ATTENDS BURIAL CEREMONY OF LATE MADAM JOHNBA JOHN MIO KELLY JACK, IN ABONNEMA.
Prominent Rivers statesman and Corporate industry titan, Chief Dumo Lulu-Briggs, on Saturday, July 20, was in Abonnema, in Akukutoru LGA of Rivers State to attended the funeral ceremony of a dear sister, Late Madam Johnba John Mio Kelly Jack, JP.
Late Madam Johnba John Mio Kelly Jack will be greatly missed, according to family and loved ones, especially because she was a wise counselor, a God fearing mother, a burden bearer, a peace maker and only 66 years of age, when she departed to the great beyond. For them, this is when she is needed most, a time that the world seems perilous.
In performing his Traditional obligation as the Paramount Head of the Oruwari Briggs War Canoe group of Houses in Abonnema, Chief Dumo Lulu-Briggs led other Oruwari Briggs family Chiefs to bid the late Madam Johnba John Mio Kelly Jack JP, farewell, while lying in state.
In his speech, Chief Dumo Lulu-Briggs stated:
"Dear sister, your departure is a sad one, but we console ourselves in the believe that you will be with the Lord. For you were a peace maker while you were here with us, an intercessor, a burden bearer, kind hearted, a daughter of Zion who always wants the family to be united,. If there be any misunderstanding, you are ready to do all it takes to make certain that, that misunderstanding does not see the light of day.
"Your fear for God is incomparable, and your sacrificial services to Him was known and seen by all. The very reason we believe that, you will be with Him In paradise. Though you left us at 66, but even at 66, you have touched lives, made positive impacts in us, which is the reason for creation.
As you journey on, we are rest assured that your wishes of a united Oruwari Briggs group of War Canoe House shall come to pass. Goodbye, Dear sister.
